Discussion of the question "How should education be?" is important for anyone who takes even the slightest interest in their future, and that of their children and the nation in which they live. The need for obtaining an education is no longer in doubt. All that remains is the strategic negotiation of the maze of choices that await us down that path. Before embarking on this journey, it is necessary to determine what aim you wish to achieve. Do you need an education to get a well-paid job, or are you more interested in getting to the bottom of things, finding out how the world works and what the meaning of life is? Or do you want to discover what it takes to run a family and build a home? How would you like to devote your time? The answers to these questions lie within each person. We each choose our own way in life and how we develop. The progress we have made to date not only makes our lives easier, but also provides broader opportunities for acquiring knowledge. A good example is the Internet - an educational environment that pushes the boundaries, giving access to a rich world of knowledge. But we must bear in mind that its use does not necessarily lead to real knowledge, but rather enablesthe process of accessing information yet to be discovered. For now though, we have not yetlearned how to "download" files with various theories and practices directly onto ourselves,
bypassing our visual, auditory and tactile receptors. Therefore, we have to study the same wayour parents did; by reading, solving mathematical problems and writing essays, but we canincorporate the wider variety of tools we now have to assist us with this. We should also notforget the importance of direct interaction with the real world. After all, gaining practicalexperience, and more importantly, making contact with the people around us, have alwaysplayed a major role in the viability of acquiring knowledge. Discussion on the need for education reform is fascinating, and so as not to lose the essence ofthe task, I would like to identify some values it is important to remember. Development in itsentirety is the synthesis of pragmatic, ethical and aesthetic knowledge within an individual. Priority should be placed on the goals of education rather than its methods and disciplines.
Moreover, education should be not only a tool, but also a deliberate and desired choice wemake, thinking of our future. Strong motivation in our goals achievement enables the system of education work more transparent and provide student with exact knowledge in subject of education. Development of one's educational space is also important, as observation and experience are the basic methods of obtaining information about the world around us. There isalso the universality and inseparability of private life, family, work and leisure. These are theguidelines that can serve as a compass in the contemporary world of educational programs. Wewish you well on your journey! Summary of the key ideas of Education of My Dream ProjectSystem of Education of My Dream is based on several principles, key issues of which you cansee below.
1. Secondary education follows the principle of equality and accessibility, it is available for
everyone. High education is available for strongly motivated student, who improve theirskills and have an exact understanding of their needs in high education.
2. Education of our Dream has strong moral base with focus on self-development and
improvement.
3. Students of all kinds on institutions have an opportunity to touch the subject of studying.
Mainly the traditional course is based on theory, though it is significant to use knowledgein practice to feel the process of the field of activity itself. Institutions provideopportunity to apply theoretical knowledge into practice, give cases based on actualevents, and give students the opportunity to participate in real projects of realcompanies and structures.
4. Professor’s and teacher’s qualification is tested every year. Students take part in theestimation of the academic staff skills and the material feed.
5. Social and school (university) life are not separate. School or university develops social
skills and responsibility not only by establishing the representatives of social
organizations, but also encouraging student and causing their interest in social
responsibility.
6. Education at all is more human-oriented. Attention is paid on talents and skill of eachperson, education is aimed at realization and development of the potential of thestudent. This becomes the professors and teachers goal.
7. Students have a free choice of personal curriculum to make it optimal for other studying,
for social life and for work experience.
8. Institutions from all over the world create an international networking resource toprovide students a job all over the world. To be a member of this network the institution
itself should pass special test every year, but this network guarantees working places allover the world.
9. The diverse examination system is integrated in a process to make it more objective in
evaluation of different subjects of humanitarian and technical kind.
10. Education system provides global work with teachers, professors and tutors. This workimplies a new approach to teaching, when a teacher gives a student not only knowledge,
but also an ability to choose a direction according to wishes, skills and critical analysis ofthe situation. Especially it concerns the school system for the teen age people.
11. There is an opportunity for students (of any institution) to take a pause in education and
overestimate their views on their own education. There are special conditions for
students who have changed their choice and need some time to rethink.
12. The studying process itself is partly based on the team work in order to establish thegood communication and human connections.
13. Education of our dream has a wide-spread support to Non-formal education.
Collaboration between institutions and non-formal education organizations can be veryeffective.
14. Each institution (college, high school, university etc.) adopts a list of proven resources(web-sites, blogs, public pages etc.) of the Internet, which can be used by student as an
allowed list for research works essays and articles.
